Talk about getting carried away with power. What’s happened here, we reckon, is Wimmer started tuning the engine in the Turbo S and forgot to stop until they realized they’re going to break the thing. We’re talking about the new Wimmer RST Porsche 991 Turbo S which at a cost of 52,500 Euros gives you access to 840 horsepower.
840 horses in a drop top with 860 Nm of torque and a top speed of 346 km/h… it is fair to say Wimmer RST Porsche 991 Turbo S is something else when it comes to performance figures. And if those seem interesting to you, check these out: the bloody car sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 2,6 seconds, from 0 to 200 km/h in 8,4 seconds and from 0 to 300 km/h in 17,9 seconds. Holy crap, indeed!
The modifications that bring out this vicious power out of the Turbo S’s smooth engine include a compete revision of all the electronic controls, two WIMMER turbo chargers and sport camshafts as well as intercoolers, upgraded cylinder heads, pistons, connecting rods, fuel pump, intake manifold and the throttle valve, addition of BMC high flow air filters, Saeco tube kit, and WIMMER-RS stainless steel exhaust system with an electronic throttle system equipped with two 100-cells sport catalytic converters by HJS.
You can order a ready-to-go Wimmer RST Porsche 991 Turbo S, complete with a 6,400 Euros uprated PDK and 5,850 Euros KW Clubsport suspension, from the tuner for 310,000 Euros.
