The car every high-profile executive who wants to at least look environmentally conscience has been waiting for landed today at the Geneva Motor Show. It is the new 2018 Lexus LS 500h, a follow-up to the twin-turbo V6 version revealed a few months back, boasting a 3.5-liter V6 Dual VVT-i gasoline engine and Lexus Multi Stage Hybrid System.
The flagship Lexus truly is a jack of all trades as it excels at many things – from comfort, to quality, great features, intriguing style, and of course, power and performance. Yes, 2018 Lexus LS 500h might be a hybrid but it is about as powerful as a regular V8 saloon with an output of 354 hp which means this big executive car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds. The drivetrain features an ultra sophisticated CVT box which not only ensures fast changes and optimum efficiency, it has sensors and stuff to make sure the changes wont compromise the comfort of the passengers one bit.
A big highlight of 2018 Lexus LS 500h is its special interior designed with Omotenashi, the Japanese concept of hospitality, and built with Takumi craftsmanship standards. Here you get stuff such as new interior finish options, including Art Wood/Organic, Art Wood/Herringbone and Laser Cut Special, hand-pleated door trims were inspired by origami, and Kiriko ornamentation panel. It ought feel very special in there, especially compared to other cars of this segment.
