While the new 2017 SsangYong Korando is still far from being a beauty, at least it belong to a generation that is not as actively annoying as the early models. And with a starting price of just £17,000, and considering the kit it comes with, it is also pretty good value.
So all in all, 2017 SsangYong Korando is a decent family SUV, and if you spec it rightly and get the available 4×4 system, it is also pretty capable and makes stuff like Dacia Duster look irrelevant. The new model gets the revised grille and headlight treatment whic make it look closer to the Tivoli, and it comes with new fog lights, lower valance and bonnet, plus daytime running lights using 11 high-luminescent LED lamps. There is no concern about practicality either, as with the rear seats folded you have a very generous 1,312 litres at your disposal.
