Grown a little weary of the funky colors they have been giving their cars in recent years, Citroen has now come up wit a new edition called OneTone which, as the name reveals, is draped in one color only – in this case Obsidian Black metallic. The 2017 Citroen C4 Cactus OneTone is undoubtedly the meanest looking car in the French manufacturer’s lineup right now.
Don’t get me wrong, Citroen C4 Cactus OneTone still looks a tad clownish what with the airbumps all over its body and the unique front apron on which the fog lamps are thrice the size of the head lights. But at least it is not orange and yellow now. It is uniformly black, with the dignified color covering not just the body panels, but also the airbumps and the wheels.
Among the main highlights of Citroen C4 Cactus OneTone we can mention the Obsidian Black metallic paint, 17-inch black ‘Cross’ alloy wheels and OneTone graphics on the rear quarter panels. These are what make this version unique. Other than that, the car is a regular Cactus based on the range-topping Flair trim level in PureTech 110 S&S manual guise baosting features such as City Park Pack with front parking sensors, gap measurement and Park Assist self-parking, two-tone leather steering wheel and dark tinted rear windows, Navigation and Hi-Fi Pack with 6 speakers and an ARKAMYS digital amplifier as well as Bluetooth.
Priced at £19,020 on-the-road, the OneTone Cactus goes on sale in Britain in April. The vehicle also brings with it a new Citroen-style TV spot titled “GO BE DIFFERENT” which you can watch below:
