And to give you some facts and figures to go with the dynamic film, the 2017 Honda Civic Type R comes with 2.0-litre VTEC turbo four-pot motor mated a six-speed manual gearbox. It puts down an effortless 320 PS with peak torque of 400 Nm, handled through stiffer chassis and revised suspension compared to the previous model. The new Type R features new suspension geometry to minimise torque steer and maximise sporty handling. At the rear, the new independent multi-link system of the standard car is improved with the use of unique high rigidity suspension arms. Also contributing to the hot hatch’s performance are the aero kit, providing copious amounts of downforce, and the electronics making possible different driving modes.
